So many memories too many to name There will never be another not one quite the same When I read these words I feel you are near And my memories of you are all crystal clear Memories to unleash every kind of emotion With stories of courage of love and devotion They bring on a smile whenever I’m sad And live on within me through good times and bad A few loving words that give so much pleasure With memories of you that I’ll always treasure And as I reminisce I wish you were here To share in those memories that I hold so dear Sometimes a wish is too far from your touch And I know in my heart I’m asking too much But one day for sure my wish will come true So for now I’m content with my memories of you
